In a Weekend On Call role, you are generally responsible for responding to urgent issues or emergencies that arise outside of standard business hours. This can include troubleshooting technical problems, providing customer support, or addressing operational incidents depending on the industry. You may need to be available via phone or digital platforms, and quick response times are usually expected. What you will do
  • Diagnose and repair commercial HVAC or refrigeration systems.
  • Service equipment such as rooftop units, air handlers, chillers, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and related systems.
  • Work in commercial, industrial, medical, light commercial, property management, and food service environments.
  • Communicate with dispatch and service managers using phone-based updates.
  • Complete service documentation accurately.
  • Participate in weekend on-call rotation.
  • Travel throughout Hampton Roads, with some longer-distance customer work as needed.

  • Real troubleshooting and diagnostic ability.
  • Commercial experience preferred.
  • Residential technicians may be considered if they have strong service skills.

  • Ability to pass drug testing and driving record review.
  • Willingness to work approximately 45 or more hours per week.
  • Comfort with rotating weekend on-call.

Benefits

Compensation and benefits

  • $22.00 to $32.00+ per hour, depending on experience.
  • Upper $30.00 per hour range may be considered for highly experienced or master-level candidates.
  • Company-paid employee medical, dental, and vision premium.
  • Short-term and long-term disability.
  • IRA match to be confirmed.
  • Take-home vehicle and gas card after onboarding and evaluation.
  • Paid drive time for longer-distance customer travel.
