Job description

Colonial Plumbing Heating Air in Colonial Heights, VA is hiring a full-time entry-level Plumber Apprentice to service, diagnose issues with, repair, and install commercial and residential plumbing equipment under the direction of our experienced plumbers. The schedule for this entry-level position includes days, evenings, and weekends as required. Shifts are 8-10 hours. Are you a quick learner who loves fixing things? This entry-level position comes with a competitive wage of $16-$27/hr, depending on experience and generous benefits. Our benefits include health benefits, dental and AFLAC options (pre-tax), AD&D and term life insurances, and a 401(k) plan. We offer six paid holidays per year (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas) and generous PTO (personal time off) after 90 days:

  • 40 hours - start through year 3
  • 80 hours - 3rd year through year 6
  • 120 hours - 7th year through year 19
  • 160 hours - 20th year+

As a Plumber Apprentice, you assist an experienced plumber with residential and commercial plumbing installations, alterations, additions, repairs, and maintenance.
