Job Details & Qualifications:
The Program Coordinator, Clinical Informatics, provides leadership and support in nursing within the department of medicine at JHH to achieve unit, departmental, and institutional objectives within a rapidly changing healthcare environment. This role applies advanced knowledge of clinical practice, unit operations, clinical informatics, research, quality and safety, and professional development to effectively bridge clinical practice and information technology (IT), enhancing patient care outcomes while building staff competence in clinical systems. This includes activities such as leading Epic Super-user meetings, leading projects with nurses, such as the current IV Pump Integration initiative.
As a member of the Office of Nursing Professional Practice Informatics team, reporting to the Director of Nursing Informatics, the Program Coordinator promotes innovation and excellence in clinical care, service delivery, and team performance.
Job requirements:
  • Requires five years of experience as a registered nurse, including 3-5 years with leadership and/or complex project management responsibilities, and 3-5 years experience with computer systems and applications. Epic experience preferred.
  • MSN or master's degree in a related field preferred - Nursing Informatics Board Cert also preferred
  • MD or compact RN license at time of hire

Salary Range: Minimum 58.03/hour - Maximum 89.94/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
