Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Develop manufacturing methods and determine material requirements to efficiently produce customer-requested products.
  2. Evaluate and validate design options through prototype fabrication and testing.
  3. Maintain a strong understanding of all manufacturing capabilities and limitations.
  4. Ensure all engineered products are manufacturable within current operational capabilities.
  5. Track product designs throughout all stages of development, including production implementation.
  6. Complete 3D printing projects according to established schedules and specifications.
  7. Create and refine product designs to ensure manufacturability and performance.
  8. Provide technical design support to sales, manufacturing, and quality teams.
  9. Perform and manage engineering change requests, ensuring proposed changes are feasible and achieve desired outcomes.
  10. Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  11. Serve as backup support for Tooling Engineer and Estimating functions as needed.
  12. Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.


Education / Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
  • At least 4 years of experience in the engineering/manufacturing industry.
  • Computer skills, auto CAD/3D software, knowledge of manufacturing processes.
