Job description

Lutheran Social Service of MN (LSS) is hiring DSPs at multiple locations in the Elk River/Coon Rapids area!

Pay:

  • $16.00- $17.00/hr, depending on location
  • Upon completion of six months of consistent employment, there is an opportunity to obtain a wage increase to $16.50-$17.50/hr!  
  • $1500 Hiring Bonus!

Shifts:

  • Elk River
    • Every other weekend 3pm-9pm
  • Coon Rapids
    • Every other weekend 8am-3pm
    • Every other weekend 8am-1pm
    • Every other weekend Sat 8am-2pm & Sun 8am-4pm
    • 2pm-10pm

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) at LSS you will:

  • Provides hands-on support to individuals with identified needs in a residential setting, helping them live as independently as possible while pursuing their personal goals.
  • Focus on person-centered care, daily living assistance, community inclusion, and overall health and safety.
  • Offer guidance, advocacy, and behavioral support, assist with personal care and household tasks, provide transportation, monitor well-being, maintain required documentation, and support basic financial management to ensure high-quality, compliant care in a safe and supportive home environment.

What you offer LSS as a DSP:

  • The desire to help individuals with disabilities achieve their personal hopes and dreams through person centered care and support.
