What You'll Do

Position Summary:

The Evening Shift Operations Supervisor is a key leader in ensuring smooth, efficient, and compassionate evening operations across our behavioral health programs. This role is responsible for evening staffing, including scheduling, training, and coordination of resources to ensure consistent, high-quality care for our patients.

As a central partner to both the clinical and operations teams, the Operations Supervisor helps create a safe, responsive, and healing environment—one that allows staff to thrive and patients to feel supported.

Key Performance Responsibilities:

  • Support the Operations Manager with recruitment and hiring efforts to identify strong evening shift candidates who align with our mission and values.
  • Ensure a strong onboarding and development experience for overnight direct care staff, with initial training and support in the long-term career growth process.
  • Partner with HR in managing interpersonal and/or performance issues that arise.
  • Maintain proactive staffing plans and schedules that ensure proper supervision across all assigned programs during overnight shift that uphold patient safety and meet or exceed required staffing ratios.
  • Process payroll and time off requests, as well as performance evaluations as required, for direct reports.
  • Intervene and provide support during crisis situations.
  • Assist on the floor to fill in for staffing gaps as they arise.
  • Point of contact for ongoing or crisis situations for parents as well as providing updates to clinical and operational teams.
  • Maintain a high level of communication with Operation Managers to ensure all proper protocols for patient safety are in place during the evening shift.
  • Schedule regular staff meetings and training for direct care staff.
  • Conduct documentation and training audits, ensuring timely chart note completion, accurate recordkeeping, and full compliance with required training (e.g., Relias).
  • Attend RCAs and other meetings as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, License Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor’s or associate degree in human services, counseling, psychology, or social work preferred.
  • State approved credential OR Minimum one (1) year of experience working with adolescents/young adults in a mental health setting required.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a lead, supervisory, or management role preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for insurance coverage for driving company vehicles.
  • The minimum age is 18 years old as a requirement for employment.
  • Health Screening, TB Clearance, valid CPR and Criminal Record Clearance are required prior to employment.
  • Must complete CPI and CPR Training within first 30 days.

Compensation for this role ranges from $26.80- 31 per hour depending on education and experience.
