Job description

A DAY IN THE LIFE

The HROperationsCoordinatoris a key contributor toBlattner's Human Resourcesteam.This position is responsible for managing various HR operational tasks, with a focus on pre-boarding and drug testing activities. The HR Operations Coordinator will work closely with the Field, HR team members, hiring managers, and new employees to facilitatea seamlessonboarding experience.

STEP INTO THE ROLE

  • Conducts pre-employment criminal background checks and applies relevant policies and procedures towards making eligibility determination. Escalate as necessary.
  • Requests motor vehicle records (MVR) for pre-employment hires.Coordinatesnecessary conversationsbetween the candidate and Fleet Manager,per MVR results and Fleet policy.
  • Tracks completion of required pre-employment drug screen, reviews results,andenters into system of record. Follows up with the Recruiter, Hiring Manager, and/or candidate as needed based on results,in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Verifies completion of Form I-9and onboarding tasksfornew hires, rehires and transfer employees.
  • Manages theDOT and non-DOTrandom drug testing process, reviewsresults,enters into the system of record, andfollows up with all applicable parties and ensures the EAPor SAPprocess is initiated as appropriate.
  • Arranges on-site medical services for assigned projects and manages the vendor relationship for the duration of the project's life cycle.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Two-yearHuman Resourcesdegree or related discipline; or the equivalent combination of training and related experience.
  • Two or more years of experience in Human Resources, Payroll, or other applicable customer service role(s).
