Flexibility on arrival times on Friday, Saturday 8am-6pm and Sunday 8am-2pm. Plus a weekend in advance of the session for trainings.


The Program Leader supports the delivery of Family Camp and Access Adventures retreats, typically running 2–4 days at a time. This role is designed for short but highly engaged program sessions where flexibility, adaptability, and strong camper support are essential.


Program Leaders manage activity sites, facilitate inclusive and engaging programming, and may assist as cabin staff to create a safe, positive living environment. Because of the short duration and immersive nature of these programs, Program Leaders are expected to be highly energetic, collaborative, and committed to making each retreat memorable and impactful.


  • Develop and lead activities for the activity focus area that are creative, dynamic, fun and safe for campers of all ages and abilities.
  • Facilitates the upkeep of assigned activity area, ensuring that all areas are safe and well maintained.
  • Develop and write lesson plans with clear goals that are clearly tied to the activity focus area and are intentional in purpose.
  • Works closely with staff to adapt activities so each participant is able to participate.
  • Works with the Camp Director and Head Counselor to develop new activities and programs that are inclusive and therapeutic for participants of all abilities.
  • Assist the Camp Director and Head Counselor and other staff in the coordination and facilitation of evening programs, theme days, and special events.
  • Lives with assigned cabin group and staff in a respectful manner, participating in building a positive and safe camp living environment.
