Job Summary:
F2Onsite is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Desktop Support Technician with strong Mac support experience to join their IT team. The ideal candidate will provide technical support for end users across both macOS and Windows environments, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure a high level of customer service while maintaining operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
โข Provide onsite and remote technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals
โข Support and troubleshoot macOS and Apple hardware, including MacBooks, iMacs, and related applications
โข Configure, deploy, and maintain Windows and macOS devices
โข Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, and connectivity issues
โข Assist users with Microsoft 365, email, VPN, and collaboration tools
โข Manage user accounts, permissions, and access within Active Directory and/or cloud-based environments
โข Perform system imaging, software installations, updates, and asset management
โข Document incidents, resolutions, and support procedures within the ticketing system
โข Escalate complex technical issues when necessary while maintaining communication with end users
โข Support conference room technology, audiovisual equipment, and mobile devices as needed
Qualifications:
Required:
โข 2+ years of desktop support or help desk experience
โข Strong hands-on experience supporting macOS environments
โข Experience with Apple device troubleshooting and deployment
โข Familiarity with Windows 10/11 operating systems
โข Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and ticketing systems
โข Basic understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN connectivity
โข Excellent communication and customer service skills
โข Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment
โข Ability to lift and move computer equipment up to 50 lbs
โข Ability to travel between office locations if required
โข Full-time availability
โข Occasional after-hours or weekend support may be required
