Job description

Job Summary:
F2Onsite is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Desktop Support Technician with strong Mac support experience to join their IT team. The ideal candidate will provide technical support for end users across both macOS and Windows environments, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure a high level of customer service while maintaining operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Provide onsite and remote technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals
โ€ข Support and troubleshoot macOS and Apple hardware, including MacBooks, iMacs, and related applications
โ€ข Configure, deploy, and maintain Windows and macOS devices
โ€ข Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, and connectivity issues
โ€ข Assist users with Microsoft 365, email, VPN, and collaboration tools
โ€ข Manage user accounts, permissions, and access within Active Directory and/or cloud-based environments
โ€ข Perform system imaging, software installations, updates, and asset management
โ€ข Document incidents, resolutions, and support procedures within the ticketing system
โ€ข Escalate complex technical issues when necessary while maintaining communication with end users
โ€ข Support conference room technology, audiovisual equipment, and mobile devices as needed
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข 2+ years of desktop support or help desk experience
โ€ข Strong hands-on experience supporting macOS environments
โ€ข Experience with Apple device troubleshooting and deployment
โ€ข Familiarity with Windows 10/11 operating systems
โ€ข Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and ticketing systems
โ€ข Basic understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN connectivity
โ€ข Excellent communication and customer service skills
โ€ข Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment
โ€ข Ability to lift and move computer equipment up to 50 lbs
โ€ข Ability to travel between office locations if required
โ€ข Full-time availability
โ€ข Occasional after-hours or weekend support may be required
