QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional business, accounting, or administrative training preferred.
  • Previous secretarial, bookkeeping, school office, or athletic department experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Indiana extracurricular account (ECA) procedures, including purchase orders, deposits, receipts, ticket sales, reconciliation, and recordkeeping.
  • Familiarity with Indiana State Board of Accounts requirements and internal controls related to school extracurricular funds.
  • Working knowledge of IHSAA rules, eligibility requirements, required documentation, and tournament procedures.
  • Experience with FinalForms or a similar student-athlete registration and compliance platform.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, email, spreadsheets, calendars, and student information systems.
  • Ability to maintain accurate athletic schedules, rosters, eligibility records, contracts, transportation arrangements, and officials' information.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple events, deadlines, and responsibilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with students, parents, coaches, officials, staff, and community members.
  • Ability to handle confidential student, personnel, medical, and financial information appropriately.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to remain professional and composed in a busy environment, particularly during athletic events and seasonal transitions.
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings or additional hours during tournaments, special events, or peak athletic seasons.
  • Successful completion of all required background checks.
