Weekend Kitchen Jobs in Utah (NOW HIRING)

You don't need restaurant experience to get started at Chuck-A-Rama. Our Kitchen Helpers work alongside our cooks and kitchen team to prepare fresh, made-from-scratch food and keep everything organized, stocked, and ready for service. As a Kitchen Helper, you'll learn your way around the kitchen while helping with food preparation, setting up workstations, following recipes, keeping things clean, and making sure the team has what they need to keep the buffet filled. It's a great first restaurant job for someone who likes staying busy, enjoys working with a team, and wants the opportunity to learn new skills.

No experience? No problem. We'll teach you what you need to know.

What You'll Do

A typical shift may include:

• Preparing ingredients for our cooks and kitchen team
• Helping prepare fresh food using Chuck-A-Rama recipes
• Setting up and stocking kitchen workstations
• Measuring, portioning, mixing, and preparing ingredients
• Helping keep food ready for the buffet throughout the meal
• Keeping work areas clean, organized, and sanitized
• Safely using kitchen tools and equipment
• Following food safety, sanitation, and handling procedures
• Cleaning as you work and helping keep the kitchen running smoothly
• Helping cooks and other teammates during busy meal periods
• Jumping in wherever an extra set of hands is needed

What We're Looking For

Great Kitchen Helpers come ready to learn, work hard, and be part of the team. We're looking for someone who:

• Is at least 16 years old
• Is dependable and ready to work
• Enjoys staying active and working in a fast-paced environment
• Can follow recipes and instructions
• Pays attention to details
• Works well with others
• Communicates well with teammates
• Understands the importance of keeping a kitchen clean and safe
• Is willing to obtain a Food Handler Permit
• Is comfortable working in a busy restaurant kitchen environment
• Is willing to learn and take on new responsibilities
• No previous kitchen experience is required. Bring a great attitude and willingness to learn, and we'll help with the rest.
