Position Overview:

As the Area Leader of Restaurant Operations, you’ll be responsible for overseeing operations across a market with multiple locations. You’ll ensure that every aspect of our service, execution, and team performance reflects the high standards and vision of goop Kitchen. You’ll lead with purpose, drive consistency, and cultivate a people-first culture rooted in excellence and innovation.

This role requires a seasoned leader who excels in scaling systems, leading teams, and delivering consistent, high-quality results in a fast-paced, modern food environment.

Requirements:

You’ll Be Responsible For:

? Experience Leadership: Oversee the full customer journey—from digital ordering to delivery—ensuring it aligns with goop Kitchen’s brand standards and commitment to clean, elevated service.

? Team Performance & Culture: Build and lead a high-performing team of managers and service professionals. Foster a culture of accountability, support, and continuous growth.

? HR & Staff Management: Oversee staffing operations including hiring, onboarding, scheduling, performance management, labor compliance, and required documentation. Partner with HR to ensure consistent and compliant execution of people-related processes.

? Standards & Training: Develop, implement, and maintain operating procedures and service standards that deliver consistency, hospitality, and operational excellence across locations.

? Operational Execution: Ensure seamless coordination between all departments. Drive consistency, timing, and efficiency throughout the order fulfillment process.

? Tech-Enabled Service: Use customer feedback, delivery platform data, and internal reporting tools to drive performance, troubleshoot issues, and improve processes.

? Brand Representation: Uphold goop Kitchen’s high standards for aesthetic, cleanliness, professionalism, and thoughtful service in all market locations.

? Metrics & Accountability: Own KPIs including customer satisfaction, order accuracy, labor efficiency, and team productivity. Use data to inform decisions and improve outcomes.

Qualifications:

? 5+ years of experience leading restaurant or service operations in multi-unit, high-performance environments

? Proven track record in building and developing strong teams and scaling operations

? Deep understanding of operational systems, compliance, and process excellence

? Strong knowledge of HR best practices and labor law compliance

? Experience with delivery-first or digital food concepts is a plus

? Strong analytical and financial acumen, including labor planning and budget oversight

? Passion for clean, high-quality food and modern hospitality
