Centonove is an upscale, Italian restaurant located in the heart of downtown Los Gatos. We are a gathering place for guests to relax, enjoy the food and drink of Italy, while they connect with friends and family. Our lunch and dinner menu offers traditional handmade pastas, gourmet pizzas, seasonal salads and an extensive Italian wine menu--as well as Italian beers and traditional cocktails.

Key Responsibilities

  • Weekend Kitchen Coverage
  • Prepare and Plate High-quality Food Items According to Standardized Recipes and Quality Standards
  • Station Managment and Daily Preparation
  • Cross-Train to Work Multiple Stations and Prep for Each
  • Ensure All Food is Prepared and Stored in Compliance with Food Safety Regulations
  • Operate and Maintain Assigned Kitchen Equipment, Adhere to Restaurant Procedures, Maintain a Clean Workspace, Including Regular Cleaning of Cooking and Kitchen Equipment
  • Team Collaboration and Support to BOH/FOH and Management
  • Provide General Support to Restaurant and Perform Other Duties as Required or Assigned

  • 1-2+ Year of Kitchen Experience
  • Weekend Availability
  • Basic English Language
  • Ability to Lift up to 50 Pounds and Exert Well-Paced Mobility
  • Ability to spend up to 8 hours Standing or Walking in a Kitchen/Restaurant Environment
  • Ability to Work with Commercial Equipment Including Stand Mixers, Ovens, Torches, and other Commercial Tools
