¡Bienvenido! The Grove en Español Ministry Coordinator is a crucial part of our mission to reach the local Spanish speaking community for Christ. The Coordinator works closely with The Grove En Español Pastor focusing on developing volunteers, communication and organization.  Proactivity, follow-through, and a heart for the Spanish-speaking community are critical to success in this position.
 

Reports to:          The Grove en Español Pastor

Works with:        Spanish Ministry leadership and volunteers; Outreach staff; Communication and Office staff

Works:                 Full time, approximately 40 hours per week; exempt (Sundays mandatory)

ADMINISTRATIVE OVERSIGHT – 50% 
  • Serve as primary point of contact for The Grove en Español Ministry emails, phone calls, etc.
  • Organize and schedule weekly meetings and appointments.
  • Manage church database and track key ministry metrics such as attendance, engagement, and volunteer involvement.
  • Oversee onboarding process for new volunteers.
  • Track department budget; prepare purchase orders and reimbursement requests.
  • Manage and maintain the The Grove en Español Ministry calendar, ensuring alignment with church-wide events.
  • Prepare script for weekend host.
  • Schedule weekend host.
  • Schedule and record videos announcements for weekends.
  • Manage the The Grove en Español Pastor’s calendar and scheduling.
MINISTRY LEADERHIP – 25%
  • Plan, manage logistics and execute all aspects of ministry events: weekend services, and special events.
  • Coordinate volunteers to make care calls to those in need.
  • Make calls to new individuals and families for assessment and encouragement.
  • Develop and oversee a clear assimilation pathway for new guests (from first-time guest to active involvement).
  • Oversee coordination across all Grove en Español Ministry areas to ensure alignment and effectiveness.
  • Evaluate ministry events and processes to identify areas for improvement.
COMMUNICATION OVERSIGHT – 15%
  • Work with Communication Team to prepare weekly service, website, app and other ministry promotional materials.
  • Manage regular communications: The Grove en Español Ministry weekly email, social media, etc.
  • Assist with translation of subtitles and printed materials as needed.
  • Develop and improve systems to streamline ministry operations and communication.
OTHER MINISTRY – 10%
  • Cultivate intimacy with God and growth in Christ-like character through personal and corporate spiritual disciplines.
  • Attend team meetings, church all-sta­ff meetings, devotions and trainings.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
