Job Description

Join our Golf Course team as a Snack Bar Host and help create an exceptional experience for our guests on and off the course. This position is responsible for preparing and serving food and beverages, operating the snack bar, handling cash transactions, maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards, and providing outstanding customer service. The Snack Bar Host will also drive a beverage cart throughout the golf course, offering food and beverage service directly to golfers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve sandwiches, salads, snacks, and beverages.
  • Maintain food quality, portion control, and proper food handling procedures.
  • Set up, stock, and clean the snack bar and concession areas.
  • Operate cash register and accurately handle cash transactions.
  • Monitor inventory and maintain stock rotation.
  • Drive a golf cart throughout the course to provide food and beverage service.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Deliver friendly, professional, and efficient customer service.
  • Work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Previous food service, deli, concessions, or cash handling experience preferred.
  • Basic math and reading skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must obtain a Washington State Food Worker Card within 14 days of hire and a MAST/TIPS permit within 60 days if required.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Frequently lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a kitchen environment with heat, steam, sharp utensils, and wet floors.
  • Ability to safely operate a golf cart throughout the course.
