POSITION SUMMARY

Assist bar staff in providing the highest level of quality and service to our guests.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Assist in preparing the bar area for music entertainment by removing dining tables and chairs and moving and setting up and breaking down the appropriate tables and equipment for required for the music and bands.
  • Assist in monitoring for safety in the bar area looking for potential hazards.
  • Assist with cleaning the bar area including spills, broken glass, and sweeping.
  • Remove glassware from areas of the bar that should be glass free including switching guests’ glassware to plastic.
  • Host certain sections of the bar area assisting guests with seating and checking ID’s.
  • Assist with delivering food items to guests’ tables as ordered and within the appropriate time limits (hot food hot, cold food cold), describing each food item when placing them in front of the guests using deliver position number.
  • Follow T S protocol and inform manager on duty for all noted guest allergies.
  • Check for proper condiments and utensils when approaching table to deliver food.
  • Assist all bar staff with bar duties as needed.
  • Greet all guests and co-workers in a warm, personal, friendly manner.
  • Assist Bar Team as needed by removing dishes and glasses from tables or counters throughout guests’ meal, and take them to kitchen for cleaning.
  • After guest has finished dining, prepare table by clearing and cleaning table and resetting for next guest.
  • Assist guests with any requests or concerns and take action to correct any problems.
  • Stock service areas with supplies such as tableware and linens throughout service period.
  • Assist in removing trash from full receptacles and replacing liner.
  • Monitor restrooms and clean when necessary.
  • Take extra care to maintain the highest standard of cleanliness in each duty performed.
  • Stock service areas with supplies as required.
  • Must be dependable, report to work as scheduled and on time, and follow all policies regarding scheduling and attendance.
  • Work in a safe manner and report any safety concerns; personal, employee or guest injury.
  • Follow food safety program guidelines of handwashing, bare hands, hygiene and health.

Experience: No prior restaurant experience required although useful.

Certificates & Licenses: Must take and pass all training tests 90% or higher.
