Front Desk Agent

Front Desk Agent - $16 per hour

Front Desk & Resident Services:

  • Greet residents, visitors, and vendors in a courteous and professional manner, making sure they sign in
  • Monitor and control building access in accordance with community policies
  • Answer phones, log inquiries, and relay messages to management or on-call staff
  • Maintain front desk logs, incident reports, and shift documentation
  • Provide basic information to residents and guests while maintaining confidentiality
  • Light cleaning as needed in public space areas.Β 

Security & Safety:

  • Conduct routine interior and exterior property patrols
  • Monitor security cameras and alarm systems
  • Enforce community rules and safety procedures consistently and respectfully
  • Respond to emergencies, resident concerns, and after-hours issues per protocol
  • Contact emergency services and notify management as required
  • Document incidents accurately and thoroughly.

Facility Oversight

  • Observe and report maintenance or safety concerns
  • Ensure common areas remain secure, orderly, and safe
  • Monitor for unauthorized access or unusual activity

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior experience in security, front desk, concierge, or customer service preferred
  • Experience working with seniors or in residential housing strongly preferred
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and courteous in high-stress situations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic computer skills (logs, reports, email, monitoring systems)
  • Ability to walk property, stand for extended periods, and respond to emergencies
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
