We are currently looking for: Cook 1 temporary position, 4 days a week (3 CHSLDs in Laval & 1 Riviera Residence) Salary: $29.70 per hour SUMMARY JOB DESCRIPTION: As a cook, you are responsible for preparing, seasoning, cooking and portioning tasty and appetizing meals for our residents. You will be required to manage several aspects of meals, such as: Soups and broths Main dishes and their side dishes Desserts and drinks You will need to work in accordance with: The menu established Standardized recipes Diets and textures specific to each resident Health and safety standards in institutional kitchens REQUIREMENTS: Hold a DEP (Diploma of Vocational Studies) in cooking or equivalent training. Have 2 years of relevant experience in a healthcare facility Proficiency in spoken and written French Must be available for the day shift and one weekend out of three.
