  • Develop creative event concepts, themes, and environments that elevate the brand and engage customers and prospects in meaningful ways.
  • Partner with marketing and sales leadership to define target audiences, desired outcomes, and success metrics for each event.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve the attendee experience, increase engagement, and differentiate our events from competitors.

2. Event Planning and Execution

  • Develop annual event plan, providing event participation recommendations based on company objectives.
  • Act as a strategic advisor for events.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand event objectives, requirements, and target audience.
  • Create and manage event budgets, timelines, and project plans.
  • Source and negotiate contracts with vendors, including venues, catering, audiovisual providers, and transportation services.
  • Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, room layout, equipment setup, and catering.
  • Oversee event registration, attendee management, and communications.
  • Manage event staffing, including coordinators, volunteers, and temporary staff.
  • Ensure smooth event execution, troubleshooting issues and providing on-site support.

3. Event Marketing and Promotion

  • Develop event marketing strategies and campaigns to generate interest and maximize attendance.
  • Partner with shared services to create event content including invitations, brochures, signage, and promotional materials.
  • Utilize channels such as social media, email campaigns, and web to promote events.
  • Collaborate with the broader marketing team to integrate events into larger campaigns and programs.
  • Monitor event registration and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

4. Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders, clients, and external vendors and partners.
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of services and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for event-related inquiries and deliver a high standard of client service.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and operations, to align event objectives with broader business goals.

5. Post-Event Evaluation and Reporting

  • Ensure effective lead capture and post-event follow-up, including development of call scripts and offers.
  • Evaluate event performance against defined objectives, including pipeline impact, engagement, and attendee satisfaction.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from attendees, sponsors, and stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement.
