About the Jobย 

As anย Eventsย Manager, you willย be responsible forย planning, coordinating, and executing a wide range of events to support the organization's marketing and businessย objectives. Event types may include proprietary events, industry trade shows, workshops, and conferences.ย 

This role goes beyond execution. You will help define andย operationalizeย a corporate events strategy that positions events as a key driver of brand, pipeline, and customer engagement. You willย be responsible forย creating thoughtful, creative, and end-to-end event experiences that resonate with customers and prospects, strengthen relationships, and differentiate our brand in the market.ย 

You will work closely with internal teams, clients, and external vendors and partners to ensure seamless execution andย a high-quality experience at every touchpoint. This role requires a strong balance of strategic thinking, creativity, and operational excellence.ย 

Key Responsibilitiesย 

1. Event Strategy and Experienceย 

  • Contribute to the development and execution of a corporate events strategy aligned to business, brand, and pipelineย objectives.ย ย 
  • Ensureย every event is designed as an intentional, end-to-end experience, fromย initialย invitation through post-event follow-up.ย ย 
  • Develop creative event concepts, themes, and environments that elevate the brand and engage customers and prospects in meaningful ways.ย ย 
  • Partner with marketing and sales leadership to define target audiences, desired outcomes, and success metrics for each event.ย ย 
  • Continuouslyย identifyย opportunities to improve the attendee experience, increase engagement, and differentiate our events from competitors.ย ย 

2. Event Planning and Executionย 

  • Develop annual event plan, providing event participation recommendations based on companyย objectives.ย ย 
  • Act as a strategic advisor for events.ย ย 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand eventย objectives, requirements, and targetย audience.ย ย 
  • Create and manage event budgets, timelines, and project plans.ย ย 
  • Source and negotiate contracts with vendors, including venues, catering, audiovisual providers, and transportation services.ย ย 
  • Coordinate eventย logistics, including venueย selection, room layout, equipment setup, and catering.ย ย 
  • Oversee event registration, attendee management, and communications.ย ย 
  • Manage event staffing, including coordinators, volunteers, and temporary staff.ย ย 
  • Ensure smooth event execution, troubleshooting issues and providing on-site support.ย ย 

3. Event Marketing and Promotionย 

  • Develop event marketing strategies and campaigns to generate interest and maximize attendance.ย ย 
  • Partner with shared services to create event content including invitations, brochures, signage, and promotional materials.ย ย 
  • Utilize channels such as social media, email campaigns, andย webย to promote events.ย ย 
  • Collaborate with the broader marketing team to integrate events into larger campaigns and programs.ย ย 
  • Monitor event registration and provide regular updates to stakeholders.ย ย 

4. Relationship Managementย 

  • Build andย maintainย relationships with key internal stakeholders, clients, and external vendors and partners.ย ย 
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensureย timelyย delivery of services and resolve issues as they arise.ย ย 
  • Act as the primary point of contact for event-related inquiries and deliver a high standard of client service.ย ย 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and operations, to align eventย objectivesย with broader business goals.ย ย 

5. Post-Event Evaluation and Reportingย 

  • Ensure effective lead capture and post-event follow-up, including development of call scripts and offers.ย ย 
  • Evaluate event performance against definedย objectives, including pipeline impact, engagement, and attendee satisfaction.ย ย 
  • Collect and analyze feedback from attendees, sponsors, and stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement.ย ย 
  • Prepare event reports including metrics, budget analysis, and recommendations for future events.ย ย 

Requirements

Qualifications and Skillsย 

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related fieldย ย 
  • 5-7+ years of experienceย in event marketing, with increasing ownership and accountabilityย ย 
  • Proven ability to own event strategy and manage budgetsย ย 
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex events simultaneouslyย ย 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skillsย ย 
  • Hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in both strategic and executional capacitiesย ย 
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales and marketing teamsย ย
