Job description

Manager, Brand Marketing
Department: Marketing
Direct Supervisor: Sr. Director, Marketing
Status: Full-time
Summary:
The Manager, Brand Marketing will serve as the primary brand marketing lead for the Miami Open presented by Itaú, an ATP/WTA 1000’s tennis tournament and a defining event on Miami’s cultural calendar. In addition to the Miami Open, this role will support brand marketing efforts for the Hard Rock Stadium events portfolio, spanning world-class concerts, international soccer, and marquee stadium events. The successful candidate will be both a brand steward and an integrated campaign manager, capable of championing a deeply defined event identity while adapting their approach across different audiences and revenue objectives. The ideal candidate has a genuine passion for and knowledge of tennis, a strong creative sensibility, and the strategic instincts to position live events as cultural tentpoles rather than transactional experiences.
Location:
  • This is a full-time position based on site at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL.
Responsibilities:
  • Genuine passion for tennis and a working knowledge of the professional game, including the ATP and WTA tours, tournament structure, and the broader tennis landscape. An understanding of what makes the sport’s top events compelling to both core fans and new audiences is essential.
  • Deep working knowledge of brand systems and the discipline required to steward a global brand.
  • Strong creative instincts paired with the analytical rigor to make data-informed decisions and present them clearly to senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously across different brand voices, audience profiles, and timelines without sacrificing quality.
  • Collaborative by nature, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional work across creative, digital, sales, and external agency partners.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop sharp campaign briefs and deliver compelling presentations.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail across marketing assets, campaign naming structures, and all consumer-facing copy and communications.
  • Able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in alignment with the live event calendar.
What You’ll Bring:
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of brand or integrated marketing experience, ideally spanning both in-house and agency environments.
  • Prior experience marketing live events across sports, entertainment, or a related field is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated track record of owning campaigns from brief through execution and performance analysis in a high-volume, multi-project environment
  • Working knowledge of professional tennis, including the ATP and WTA tours, tournament structure, and the broader tennis landscape strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays in alignment with the live event calendar.
Featured Benefits:
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Life insurance (including voluntary coverage for spouses and children)
  • Long-term disability insurance
  • Ticket benefits for events including Miami Dolphins games, the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix, and the Miami Open
  • Employee gym, subsidized lunch program, and discounts on a variety of products and services
  • 401k, paid time off (PTO), and company holidays
The Miami Dolphins, Hard Rock Stadium and South Florida Motorsports are proud to be Drug-Free Workplaces. Offers of employment are contingent on successful completion of drug and background screening.
