Job description

The premium server provides exceptional guest service while working collectively and efficiently in the premium environments throughout the venue.All servers should be knowledgeable of the food and beverage offerings available throughout the venue.

Responsibilities:

  • Acquaints guests with menu items, promotes food and beverage specials, and uses suggestive selling techniques to upsell items when applicable.
  • Verifies proper I.D. for all alcoholic beverage transactions and responsibly serves all patrons in accordance with Pennsylvania's RAMP standards.
  • Ensures all food and beverage meet quality standards.
  • Delivers food and drinks to the correcttablesin a timely manner.
  • Possesses knowledge of the food and drink menu and provides detailed descriptions of delivered foodproducts when needed.
  • Supports the service staff by clearing/cleaning tables and running food.
  • Works as a team with fellow associates and other service departments within venue.
  • Uses the POS system (Appetize) to run tabs and process payments.
  • Operates with a focus on personal service and attention to detail to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Performs opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned bySupervisors andManagers.
  • Shows flexibility by rotating to other service locations when necessary.


Qualifications:

  • Ability todeliverfood and drinks totables in the premium areas and VIP clubs throughout the venue
  • Experienceworking in afast-pacedhigh-end club, or restaurantpreferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to read, speak and write English in order to communicate with staff and guests
  • Ability to work all venue events and maintain a flexible schedule to meet service demand levels, including extended hours, days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work in an open aired environment during all climate conditions
  • Must be punctual and dependable
  • Must maintain personal hygiene and a well-groomed appearance in accordance with company and venue standards
  • Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant standing, reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift and transport items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette preferred
  • Ability to effectively listen and take direction from management
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
  • Must meet state and local health requirements for food handlers and alcoholic beverage services

Licenses & Certifications:

Required -RAMP certification (can be provided by Legends upon hiring if necessary)
