This role is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule. As part of a telehealth facility, you will conduct virtual sessions with clients, facilitating counseling from the comfort of your own home while maintaining the highest standards of professional practice. Our outpatient counseling center is committed to leveraging technology to ensure care is accessible and convenient for both counselors and clients.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans that address client-specific issues and goals.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions through virtual platforms, focusing on individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic approaches, and solution-focused brief therapy to meet the unique needs of each client.
• Collaborate seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team comprising psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation, adhering to ethical standards and legal requirements for telehealth practices.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in relevant workshops and staying informed about advancements in mental health research.

Your primary focus will be individuals seeking mental health support, including those dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use, and relationship issues. • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.

• Strong knowledge of ethical guidelines and legal regulations relevant to counseling practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build rapport with clients from varying backgrounds.
• Comfortable working with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and telehealth software.

• Specialization in areas such as trauma-informed care, substance abuse counseling, family therapy, or couples counseling is advantageous.
• Demonstrated teamwork capabilities and collaboration with healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes.
• Prior experience in telehealth settings is highly desirable, showcasing adaptability to remote therapy environments.
