Work Environment

This position is designed to be completely remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule while providing outpatient counseling services from the comfort of your own space. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations of clients to develop personalized treatment plans that best meet their needs.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individuals, couples, families, and groups, addressing various mental health concerns.
• Employ a diverse range of therapeutic modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy depending on client needs.
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to deliver holistic care for each client.
• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical records, adhering to all ethical and legal standards in practice.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and stay up-to-date with the latest research in mental health to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Pathways Counseling Services, you will work with a diverse client population that includes individuals from varying backgrounds facing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.
• A minimum of two years of experience in providing counseling services in a clinical or outpatient setting.
• Strong understanding of ethical guidelines and legal regulations relevant to counseling practices.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to build rapport with a wide range of clients.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems, enabling organized documentation and client management.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in areas such as trauma-informed care, substance abuse treatment, family therapy, or couples counseling.
• Experience working within a multi-disciplinary team setting, collaborating on complex cases.
• Previous telehealth counseling experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
