• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans that address clients' unique needs, integrating various therapeutic modalities as appropriate.
• Facilitate crisis intervention by creating detailed pre-crisis and crisis plans, as well as risk assessments aimed at ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation that meets regulatory standards, utilizing electronic health record systems to document assessments, progress notes, and treatment outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to design and implement positive behavior support plans that promote clients' strengths and address challenges.
• Engage actively in ongoing training and professional development activities, contributing to licensing and accreditation processes as required by state regulations.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Summer Spring Psychotherapy Center, your primary focus will be on clients facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and more. You will work closely with individuals from diverse backgrounds, some of whom may be navigating complex life situations such as developmental disabilities or acquired brain injuries. Your empathetic approach will be vital in fostering a safe therapeutic environment and enabling clients to set and achieve their personal goals.

• A Master's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Successful completion of a full-time clinical internship in a relevant mental health setting, providing foundational experience in client counseling.
• Eligibility for licensure in Massachusetts, with a commitment to maintaining professional standards and ethical practices.
• A valid driver's license in good standing, as occasional in-person meetings may be required for training or team collaboration.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including active listening and empathy, while providing guidance and support.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills to manage caseload effectively.

• Experience working with telehealth platforms and virtual counseling tools, enhancing accessibility and engagement with clients.
• Proven success in developing and implementing treatment plans that reflect evidence-based practices.
• Familiarity with crisis intervention strategies and behavioral support methodologies.
