Job description

Responsibilities
Brasfield & Gorrie is currently accepting applications for a Construction Flagger. Below are the main responsibilities for this position.
(This description may not include all duties required of this position)
  • work as part of a traffic control crew, moving and maintaining traffic control devices and flagging traffic through and around a commercial construction job site
  • follow safety rules and regulations on all work zone and flagging sites, including placing signs, barricades, traffic cones and other warning devices
  • directing movement of traffic through site, using sign, hand and flag signals

Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience
  • NCCER Flagger certification strongly preferred
  • Construction flagger experience preferred
  • May operate a variety of hand tools as well as some equipment
  • Typical work conditions are in an outside environment with potential inclement weather
  • Must have the ability and be willing to work a 8-12 hour day/shift
  • Must be able and willing to walk, stoop and stand for long periods of time
  • Must adhere to safety protocol and work in a drug free environment
