Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

DRIVER/FLAGGERS NEEDED AT LANE LOGIX - IMMEDIATE HIRE

POSITION SUMMARY: Our traffic control technicians are responsible for setting up safe and compliant work zones and controlling the movement of vehicular and pedestrian traffic through roadway construction using signs and hand signaling devices. Flaggers are responsible for public safety and make the greatest number of contacts with the public of all highway workers. Be part of the safety solution!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED: You must be able to stand for extended periods of time in all weather conditions, watching for traffic in order to protect vehicular traffic, pedestrians, workers and employees. You will use signaling devices and hand signals to safely direct traffic through work zones and crossings and must wear proper safety equipment at all times at job sites. You must be able to receive and communicate detailed instructions clearly, firmly and courteously with both workers and the public. You must be able to move and maneuver quickly to avoid potential dangers and maintain your focus during stressful or emergency situations. You must be able to recognize dangerous traffic situations and warn workers in sufficient time to avoid injury. All employees are expected to lift and move equipment, set up safe and compliant work zones and perform other duties as needed.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE must have reliable transportation; be available to work Monday through Saturday and be able to work long hours and variable schedules with no restrictions on start or end times.

You must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug tests and have a clean driving record.
