Will float to PCU/Tele
Will have to complete Health Stream modules before orientation. Due by Sunday before start
• # beds 33 beds
• Certs BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required. 2 years of similar size and acuity ICU experience required
• Traveler experience required
• Ratios 1:1 to 1:3 depending on acuity. when floating to Tele ratio will be 1:5
• Ratio in the PCU will be (1:4)
• Shifts 7-7
• Floating Yes - First to float- Tele floors.
• EMR - MediTech (experience preferred)
• 1 Nurse Aide available during day shift and 1 on night shift
• Weekend Requirement - 2 weekends per month
• Holidays- as needed
• Scrub Color- Black
• Tele/Monitor Techs- No monitor techs. Nurses responsible for all EKG monitoring and interpretation.
• Floor specific orientation- During Day 1 orientation.
