As part of the CBO team, you help ensure the financial health of the organization by managing accurate claims processing, coding services, patient billing support, payer communication, and revenue cycle optimization.   • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 6 months experience with medical insurance, billing or clinical coding.

Required Certifications and Licenses:
Will accept any of the following certifications in lieu of the 6 months experience:
  • Certified Professional Coder Certification (CPC)
  • Registered Health Information Technician Certification (RHIT)
  • Certified Outpatient Coder (COC)
  • National Healthcare Association Certification (NHA)
  • Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)
  • Certified Coding Specialist Physician based (CCS-P)
