As part of the CBO team, you help ensure the financial health of the organization by managing accurate claims processing, coding services, patient billing support, payer communication, and revenue cycle optimization. Required Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 6 months experience with medical insurance, billing or clinical coding.
Required Certifications and Licenses:
Will accept any of the following certifications in lieu of the 6 months experience:
  • Certified Professional Coder Certification (CPC)
  • Registered Health Information Technician Certification (RHIT)
  • Certified Outpatient Coder (COC)
  • National Healthcare Association Certification (NHA)
  • Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)
  • Certified Coding Specialist Physician based (CCS-P)
