Job description

Description:

ECS is seeking an experienced and skilled HVAC Welder/Pipefitter Foreman to join our team. Who will lead the installation, welding, and maintenance of HVAC piping systems on commercial and industrial construction sites. This position involves supervising a team, ensuring quality control, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring all work adheres to safety standards and regulations. The Foreman is responsible for scheduling, coordinating work, resolving on-site issues, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. This is a Working Foreman position.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage a team in welding and installing HVAC piping systems.
  • Interpret blueprints and ensure accurate execution of plans.
  • Ensure all welding and pipefitting tasks meet safety and quality standards.
  • GMAW, GTAW, and SMAW.
  • Coordinate with other trades and resolve on-site issues.
  • Ensure proper welding and piping techniques are applied.
  • Collaborate with other trades for system installation and maintenance.
  • Monitor and enforce job site safety and adherence to building codes.
  • Track project progress and provide status updates to management.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, including welding diagrams and symbols as well as written and verbal instructions from engineering and management.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and travel as needed.
  • OSHA 30 or the ability to obtain within 90 days.
