Key Responsibilities:
  1. Record Management: Maintain comprehensive and accurate medical records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, with a preference for Point-Click-Care (PCC).
  2. Compliance & Confidentiality: Ensure all documentation complies with state, federal, and organizational guidelines while maintaining patient confidentiality.
  3. Data Entry & Coding: Assist with preliminary coding tasks and support the Health Information Management (HIM) processes.
  4. Collaboration: Work closely with clinical staff to verify record accuracy and facilitate smooth communication across departments.
  5. Audits & Quality Control: Conduct periodic audits of medical records to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions as needed.
  6. Training & Support: Provide guidance to staff on proper documentation practices and use of EMR systems.
  7. Reporting: Generate reports as required for regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and management reviews.

Qualifications:
  1. Experience: Previous experience in electronic medical record-keeping or a related field. Point-Click-Care (PCC) preferred.
  2. Certification: Registered Health Information Technicians (RHIT) or related experience in preliminary coding are encouraged to apply.
  3. Skills: Strong organizational, administrative, and computer skills.
  4. Knowledge: Medical terminology and record-keeping practices.
  5. Integrity: Ability to work discreetly with sensitive and confidential information.
