Job description

Singing River Health System (SRHS) is seeking a Breast Surgeon to join our growing, patient-centered team on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. This is an excellent opportunity to build and lead a comprehensive breast surgery practice within an integrated health system known for quality care, collaboration, and a strong referral base.

Position Highlights
  • Full-time Breast Surgery position
  • Practice within a multidisciplinary breast care program alongside medical oncology, radiation oncology, radiology, pathology, and nurse navigation
  • Access to state-of-the-art imaging and surgical services, including on-site mammography, breast MRI, ultrasound, and biopsy services
  • Strong referral network with established primary care and specialty providers
  • Opportunity to help shape and grow the breast program

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and surgically manage benign and malignant breast disease
  • Perform breast-conserving surgery and mastectomy procedures
  • Collaborate with oncology, radiology, and pathology teams in tumor boards and coordinated care planning
  • Provide patient-centered care with a focus on education, compassion, and outcomes
  • Participate in quality improvement and program development initiatives

Qualifications
  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
  • Fellowship training or focused experience in Breast Surgery preferred
  • Eligible for or able to obtain Mississippi medical licensure
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
