Join Our Team as a Clinical Resource Nurse – Rapid Response & Critical Care Liaison 

Are you a highly skilled and motivated RN with a passion for critical care, clinical excellence, and mentorship? We are seeking a dynamic Clinical Resource Nurse to join our team and play a key role in advancing patient outcomes through expert clinical support, collaboration, and leadership during emergent situations. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Emergency Response Leadership 
  • Act as a co-team leader during codes.  
  • Ensure accurate documentation and facilitate post-event debriefs with real-time coaching and feedback. 
  • Participate in mock codes to promote clinical readiness and continuous improvement. 
  • Sepsis & Code Blue Program Support 
  • Serve as a key member of the Code Blue and Sepsis Committees. 
  • Respond to Sepsis Alerts, ensuring timely completion of the Sepsis Bundle. 
  • Collaborate with primary teams to coordinate and facilitate care plans. 
  • Maintain and monitor Code Blue/RRT & Sepsis databases, identify trends, and report findings to Nursing Leadership. 
  • Conduct audits as needed to support performance improvement. 
  • Clinical Rounding & Patient Follow-Up 
  • Perform follow-up rounding on patients who experienced RRT activation within the past 12–24 hours to assess stability and clinical progress. 
  • Support safe transfers and stabilization of high-acuity ICU admissions and facilitate escalated transfers to higher levels of care. 
  • Expert Clinical Support & Mentorship 
  • Provide bedside support and guidance for procedures such as IV therapy, port access, EKG, blood cultures, chest tube set-up/maintenance, peritoneal dialysis (PD), and continuous bladder irrigation (CBI). 
  • Act as a clinical resource, coach, and mentor to nursing staff across units, promoting skill development and confidence. 
  • Collaborate with ICU team and Critical Care Charge RN as needed in a critical care clinician role. 
  • Consultative and Collaborative Role 
  • Offer clinical assessments and serve as a liaison between nursing staff and providers to enhance care outcomes. 
  • Assist in provider communication and follow-up to ensure seamless and timely patient care delivery. 

Available Positions: Full-time- 7:00am-7:00pm including rotating weekends and holidays

Qualifications

  • ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
  • Minimum two years of ICU experience required.   
  • Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN, BLS and ACLS required.  TNCC strongly preferred
This position has a hiring range of : USD $36.00 - USD $54.97 /Yr.
