JOB DESCRIPTION

The purpose of the Night Auditor at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Morris is to be responsible for overseeing nightly hotel operations, you will ensure accurate guest billing, maintain financial records, and provide exceptional service during late-night hours. Serves as a Manager on Duty during the hours of 11pm to 7am. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, possess strong organizational skills, and thrive in a dynamic hospitality environment. The position requires flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays, and strong customer service skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Check guests in/out, process payments, and handle AYS duties.
  • Reconcile guest service agent paperwork and credit card transactions.
  • Post room charges, distribute folios, and reconcile gift shop and banquet paperwork.
  • Run daily close-out reports, process night audit, and maintain the front desk log book.
  • Handle guest mail, messages, and faxes, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, and crouch.
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and work under rotating shifts, including weekends and night shifts, as needed.
  • Flexible schedule with rotating shifts, including weekends, nights, and potential overtime.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum one year of hotel front desk or accounting experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to perform basic math calculations.
  • Ability to analyze data and make decisions regarding guest check-in/out processes.
