Job description

Position Summary

Holiday Inn is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team. This position is responsible for providing exceptional guest service during overnight hours while completing the daily audit process, balancing accounts, and ensuring the hotel is prepared for the next business day.

If you enjoy working independently, have strong customer service skills, and are comfortable with overnight shifts, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome guests and provide outstanding customer service during overnight hours.
  • Process guest check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and room assignments.
  • Complete the nightly audit and balance all hotel financial transactions.
  • Reconcile guest accounts, credit card transactions, and daily revenue reports.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve issues professionally.
  • Answer phone calls and assist with reservations.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for hotel management.
  • Ensure the lobby and front desk area remain clean, organized, and secure.
  • Follow all IHG brand standards and hotel policies.
  • Assist with safety and security procedures during the overnight shift.
  • Assist with setting up breakfast.
Qualifications
  • Previous front desk or hotel experience preferred.
  • Prior Night Auditor experience is a plus.
  • Experience with IHG hotels or hotel property management systems is preferred.
  • Strong math, accounting, and computer skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must be dependable, organized, and able to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
