Job description

We are searching for a full-time Cook at our Lutheran Life Villages Pine Valley Assisted Living campus. 

As a representative of Lutheran Life Villages (LLV), candidates will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals for our residents. The ideal Cook candidate will be able to follow recipes and provide sufficient quantities for times of service while being a team player. Cooks will be required to clean areas and equipment in the kitchen according to standards set forth by state and federal guidelines. 

Shift consists of varying schedules:
Monday (6am-1pm)
E/O Tuesday (11am-6pm)
Wednesdays (6am-6pm)
E/O Friday (6am - 4pm)
E/O Saturday & Sunday (6am -1pm)

Job Qualifications
  • Experience:
    • One year of food service experience is preferred.
  • Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Ability to adhere to all sanitary / food service regulations.
    • Ability to work independently.
    • Strong interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
    • Weekend, holiday, and extended shifts are required.
