University of Advancing Technology is looking for an energetic, driven professional that can guide students and families through the exciting process of beginning their studies with UAT. The Admissions Advisor will be responsible for a high-volume of interactions and follow up with students that have interest in achieving their academic goals. This advisor will speak with the student about how UAT can assist them in their educational goals and help guide through the application and enrollment process.


Duties:

  • Facilitates all enrollment activities for students pursuing enrollment into the University.
  • Assesses student need and presents information as to why and how University of Advancing Technology may benefit a student’s personal, academic, and professional goals.
  • Supports students through consultations, program knowledge, financial aid assistance, insight into residential life, and transfer credit evaluations.
  • Guide prospective students through the application process. Build relationships with prospective students and track their progress through the recruitment funnel.
  • Coach students and build rapport with secondary influencers.
  • Working with students and help guide through the matriculation process, responds to phone and email inquiries on admissions process and status of applications.
  • Understands and conveys the value of education.
  • Successfully meets and exceeds goals, but always thrives to break the record.
  • Thrives in a driven environment that utilizes metrics and reporting to improve performance.

Important Notes:

  • This is not a remote position; candidates must be willing and able to work in-person at the Tempe campus
  • Available Schedules: 9am-6pm Monday - Friday or 9am-6pm Tuesday-Friday, 8am-5pm Saturday
  • Bachelor’s degree REQUIRED

Salary and Summary of Benefits: $50,000 - $61,000/year DOE

  • One Medical insurance option with UAT covering 60% of the premium cost, depending on coverage selected.
