Maintenance Technician-JLL

What this job involves:

As a Maintenance Technician at JLL, you'll be at the heart of keeping our client facilities running smoothly and efficiently. This role is all about hands-on problem-solving and preventative care across building systems-from HVAC and electrical to plumbing and general repairs. You'll work independently on routine assignments while collaborating with engineering staff, vendors, and facility management to ensure a safe, reliable, and efficient workplace. What your day-to-day will look like:

Troubleshoot equipment and complete repairs on building systems and infrastructure while responding promptly to work orders and service requests

Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance deficiencies and recommend corrective actions that prevent larger issues from developing

Complete general building maintenance including but not limited to ceiling tiles, painting, room set up, event set up, and general customer service needs

Assist with equipment installations, office moves, furniture modifications, office furniture repairs and workspace reconfigurations to support evolving client needs

Maintain accurate work order documentation and labor tracking using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as Corrigo

Coordinate with contractors and vendors performing maintenance and repair work, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, JLL safety policies, front desk and mailroom support and client-specific requests

Required qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED with minimum

1-2 years of commercial building maintenance or facilities maintenance experience

Working knowledge of general building maintenance

Experience performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting building equipment in commercial environments

Proficiency with CMMS software (Corrigo, Maximo, WebTMA, or equivalent) and Microsoft Office applications

Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills with ability to interact professionally with building occupants and stakeholders

Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment while lifting up to 50 pounds

Preferred qualifications:

EPA Universal Certification, HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing trade certification

Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) and energy management systems

Valid driver's license (if required by the account) and ability to participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergencies as needed

Commercial office, laboratory, manufacturing, or critical facilities experience preferred but not required

Trade school education or military technical training preferred

Schedule: M-F 8:00 AM - 5:00PM

This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Estimated compensation for this position:

59,400.00 - 72,800.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
