Job description

At Bob Boldt HVAC, LLC, we believe in transforming homes into comfortable sanctuaries through expert HVAC solutions. We’re not just another call-and-fix company; we specialize in performance-based system design, offering homeowners clear, data-driven options. With our commitment to whole-system testing, airflow verification, and comprehensive performance reports, every installation comes with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. We’re on a journey to become a fully systemized $4M company, where every team member is valued and empowered to build a career, not just earn a paycheck. If you're ready to be part of a team that’s dedicated to excellence and innovation, we want you on board.
As an HVAC Technician with us, you’ll diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems, ensuring each task is meticulously documented and verified. Your role involves conducting full-system health assessments during every maintenance call, providing homeowners with transparent insights into their system’s status. You’ll present repair-versus-replace options clearly, empowering homeowners to make informed decisions without pressure. Our structured career path offers a starting trainee salary of $25/hr, with the potential to earn $90,000–$138,000+/year as a Senior Technician. You’ll also enjoy benefits like a take-home service van, gas card, company iPhone, iPad, and a 401(k) plan. Join us, and together, let’s redefine comfort and reliability in the HVAC industry.

Compensation:

$60,000 - $150,000 per year

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems, ensuring each job is thoroughly tested and documented before completion.
  • Conduct comprehensive system health assessments during maintenance visits, providing homeowners with a detailed status report.
  • Present clear repair-versus-replace options with transparent pricing, empowering homeowners to make informed decisions.
  • Enroll homeowners in our Comfort Club by explaining its benefits, allowing the value to speak for itself.
  • Identify potential replacement opportunities and seamlessly transition them to the Comfort Advisor with full context.
  • Maintain complete and accurate records in ServiceTitan, including photos, system readings, and job notes, for every call.
  • Perform daily inspections of your service vehicle, ensuring all equipment is organized and any issues are promptly reported.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • 2+ years of residential HVAC service experience.
  • Comfortable using iPad and field service software (ServiceTitan or similar).
  • U.S. work authorization.

You do NOT need:

  • EPA 608 before day one — preferred, but we'll sponsor the right candidate.
  • Commercial or new construction experience — this is residential service.
  • Your own tools — the company provides equipment.
  • ServiceTitan experience specifically — we'll train you on our system.

About Company

Bob Boldt HVAC has been creating home comfort in the Eagan area since 1988. We're not a call-and-fix company. We specialize in performance-based system design — whole-system testing, airflow verification, and written performance reports on every install. We give homeowners four options on every replacement quote because we believe in informed decisions, not upsells. Every job is backed by a 100% money-back satisfaction guarantee. We're building toward a fully systemized $4M company where every team member earns a career, not just a paycheck — and we're looking for people who want to be part of building that.
