SUMMARY

The Communications Project Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the weekly promotions process by coordinating with the Creative and Production teams to ensure that all written and digital communications are on-time and appropriately scheduled. This role ensures that Communications is integrated into all event planning and keeps the Communications team properly tasked for all supporting activities. This role also has regular interaction with the Data team to assist with projects related to the app and website as needed. This person also leads the volunteer proofing team on a weekly basis and oversees all Communications activities related to new hire orientation.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, design or other creative arts, or equivalent work experience.

Experience with project management software.

Experience with website and/or app management.

Famliar with social media platforms.

Able to handle high volume of projects that change on daily basis.

Collaborative team player and willing to learn new things.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Workflow Management

Coordinate communications workflows and promotions, ensuring project management tools are updated and weekly promotions are organized for the Communications team.

Event Planning

Collaborate across departments to support event planning, launches, and identify communication needs from the events calendar.

Operations

Manage communications operations, including weekly slides, volunteer rosters, proofing team oversight, and new hire orientation for Communications.

Digital Support

Support digital and communications initiatives, assisting with social media, app/website projects, and other Communications needs as assigned.
