This role is responsible for reviewing and quality-checking a wide range of materials across digital, print, broadcast, social media, presentations, websites, proposals, and client communications. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, organized, and takes genuine pride in catching the things others miss.

This is a critical role within the organization. The Proofreader serves as one of the final layers of quality control before work leaves the building.

What Youโ€™ll Do

As a Proofreader, you will work closely with creative, account service, media, digital, PR, and production teams to ensure all deliverables are accurate, polished, and client-ready.

Your responsibilities include:
  • Proofreading and qualitychecking creative materials across print, digital, broadcast, social, presentations, websites, and internal communications
  • Reviewing spelling, grammar, punctuation, syntax, formatting, consistency, and brand standards
  • Ensuring accuracy of phone numbers, URLs, disclaimers, legal copy, dates, pricing, and callstoaction
  • Verifying consistency in tone, messaging, capitalization, spacing, and style usage
  • Reviewing layouts and visual executions for alignment between copy and design
  • Checking revisions carefully to ensure requested edits were completed correctly
  • Supporting quality assurance processes before materials are released or published
  • Communicating corrections clearly and professionally with internal teams
  • Maintaining awareness of clientspecific preferences, standards, and style guidelines
  • Assisting with final review of presentations, proposals, and important outbound communications
  • This role requires someone who can stay focused, methodical, and highly accurate in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and moving parts.

    Experience & Skills
  • Prior proofreading, copyediting, quality control, or related experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and AP style principles
  • Ability to review both longform and shortform content accurately
  • Comfort reviewing materials across multiple formats and platforms
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, PDFs, presentation decks, websites, and digital content environments
  • Experience with AirTable management software is a plus
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a deadlinedriven environment
  • Agency, publishing, media, or marketing experience is a plus
