What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Polish Localization Specialist, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Polish Localization Specialist, you need fluency in both Polish and English, strong linguistic skills, and a background in translation or localization, often supported by a relevant degree. Familiarity with computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools, terminology management systems, and quality assurance software is typically required. Attention to detail, cultural sensitivity, and effective communication are vital soft skills for ensuring translations are accurate and culturally appropriate. These skills are crucial for delivering high-quality, localized content that resonates with Polish audiences and maintains brand integrity.

What are some common challenges faced by professionals in Polish localization roles and how can they be addressed?

Polish localization specialists often encounter challenges such as maintaining consistency in terminology, adapting content to cultural nuances, and meeting tight project deadlines. Working closely with native Polish speakers and using localization tools like translation memory software can help ensure accuracy and consistency. Collaboration with project managers, developers, and other linguists is crucial to resolve ambiguities and deliver high-quality localized content. Regular training and staying updated on language trends also contribute to overcoming these challenges.

What is Polish localization?

Polish localization is the process of adapting content, software, websites, or products to meet the linguistic, cultural, and technical requirements of Polish-speaking audiences. This goes beyond simple translation, involving adjustments to idioms, cultural references, date and time formats, currency, and legal regulations. The goal is to ensure that the localized product feels natural and relevant to users in Poland or other Polish-speaking regions, improving user experience and engagement.

About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn't a buzzword - it's a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You're in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

We are hiring a dynamic UX Designer to join our Digital Employee Experience (DEX) team. Our mission is to design meaningful, engaging, and accessible human-centered workplace experiences for our global workforce. As 'Customer Zero,' your job will be to solve our own internal business challenges by designing solutions directly on the Salesforce platform-proving the power of 'Salesforce on Salesforce' from the inside out. DEX works in small, focused teams tackling specific problems, building fast, and showing results weekly. We value systems thinking, thoughtful storytelling, collaboration, and a relentless drive to ship. To be successful in this role, you will bring a passion for craft, curiosity, and an eagerness to embrace our new AI-driven ways of working.
In DEX, we are fundamentally shifting our operating model: Everyone is a Builder. We don't see lines between roles; designers build, experiment with AI, and ship real things daily. You will immerse yourself in the end-to-end experience of your work, transforming insights into clear workflows, and shifting away from static mocks to demo-driven development where "a working demo beats a slide". If you want to use your UX skills to inspire teams, rapidly create amazing experiences, and set the standard for how AI changes work, we would love for you to join us!.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an Accountable Builder: Collaborate in small, cross-functional squads (3-5 members) to own problem definitions, co-define solutions, and deliver outcomes within rapid 4-week cycles.

  • Demo-Driven Delivery: Build prototypes to plan rather than plans to build POCs. Ensure that every piece of work produces a demo artifact linked directly to a Linear issue.

  • Direct Implementation: Move beyond static mocks to directly solution with users, stakeholders, engineers, and product manager using AI tools to help implement and polish front-end details.

  • Async-First Collaboration: Replace traditional ceremonies with async communication, leveraging Slack, short video updates, and public channels to share progress.

  • User & Data-Centric Iteration: Distill complex problems to their core, evaluate design tradeoffs, and anchor the quality of your designs in real data and live user feedback rather than gut feelings.

  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Serve as a collaborative bridge linking design, product, and engineering, while preparing materials to support research activities and producing clear accessibility and localization documentation.

Experience/Skills Required

  • Deep understanding of user-centered design, with the ability to apply and adapt design system components into high-fidelity shippable solutions.

  • A strong "Builder" mentality with a bias toward action, resilience in a time of constant change, and a willingness to let go of traditional solutions and processes to experiment with new methods.

  • Experience or strong willingness to use AI coding tools daily to build, automate, and experiment.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to pitch design rationale, give and receive actionable feedback in critiques, and navigate conflicting priorities diplomatically.

  • Capability to integrate accessibility and localization considerations beyond basic compliance.

  • Expert knowledge of current design tools, along with an ability to quickly learn new tools.

  • 3+ years of UX Design experience and a related technical degree is required

Nice to have: Falling into the archetype of a "Strong Generalist" (highly skilled across multiple disciplines) or a "Deep Specialist" (top-tier expert in a specific niche like visual design or technical implementation).
