Job Description
As a Full Stack Web Developer in an enterprise-support organization, the candidate will be part of an Agile Development team of Web Developers and IT professionals. The web development team supports multiple web applications using a variety of programming languages and frameworks. Responsibilities include:
  • Participation in Program Increment Planning meetings
  • Participation in Technical Planning meetings
  • Participation in Customer Demos
  • Participation in daily team scrums
  • Participation in Team Retrospectives
  • Development of multi-tiered web applications
  • Committing bug-free and unit-tested code
  • Performing code reviews
  • Maintenance of existing web applications

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain multi-tiered web applications using a variety of programming languages and frameworks
  • Participate in planning meetings, customer demos, daily scrums, and retrospectives
  • Collaborate with team members to design, develop, and test web applications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with web applications
  • Commit bug-free and unit-tested code
  • Perform code reviews

The ideal candidate is highly technical and has a proven commitment to quality with a solid understanding of web development concepts and familiar with the latest software development methodologies, technologies and application performance analysis. The candidate must be self-motivated and be able to work on multiple projects both with other team members, and with little supervision. The candidate must have strong troubleshooting skills and the persistence to resolve issues.
Required Skills and Education
  • Professional Experience: 5-8 years with a BS/BA or 11-14 Years with HS
  • Experience in ColdFusion Development
  • Experience developing multi-tiered web applications
  • Experience with modern JavaScript libraries such as Angular, React, or jQuery
  • A solid understanding of object-oriented programming and modeling
  • Experience with relational databases
  • TS/SCI required
