Job description

Abel Communications is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager who can turn communications programs into measurable visibility and engagement. Youโ€™ll lead integrated digital efforts across organic social, paid media, LinkedIn, campaign amplification, analytics, and emerging discoverability practices, including GEO. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and handsโ€‘on practitioner with 4-7 years of experience in an agency or similarly fastโ€‘paced environment, ready to advise clients, build programs, and help expand Abelโ€™s digital capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop digital strategies and campaigns that complement and enhance our core work in Thought Leadership, media relations, and integrated marketing.
  • Serve as the agencyโ€™s digital marketing subject matter expert, leading work to include paid and organic social media, LinkedIn, GEO, discoverability trends, and emerging digital platforms.
  • Lead paid campaign strategy and execution across relevant platforms, including LinkedIn, Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, and others.
  • Build paid amplification plans supporting media relations initiatives, announcements, events, reports, and Thought Leadership campaigns.
  • Develop and manage budgets for social content calendars and campaign plans.
  • Create social media content aligned to campaign goals, platform best practices, and brand voice.
  • Lead agency expertise around social media trends, algorithm updates, platform changes, and content best practices; and proactively updates colleagues and clients.
  • Serve as agency lead for LinkedIn strategy, supporting executive visibility, employee advocacy, content strategy, profile optimization, and paid campaigns.
  • Monitor campaign performance and interpret digital analytics to optimize content and campaign effectiveness.
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools, platforms, workflows, and technologies supporting agency delivery and innovation.
  • Contribute digital expertise to agency marketing, proposals, prospect meetings, and new business opportunities.
  • Support the evolution of Abelโ€™s GEO capabilities through visibility analysis, discoverability best practices, and emerging analytics.
  • Represent the agency externally with professionalism, confidence, and expertise.

Qualifications
  • BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Digital Media, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 4-7 years in digital marketing, social media, integrated communications, or related role.
  • Agency experience preferred.
  • Experience developing and executing organic and paid social campaigns.
  • Experience managing paid campaigns across social and search platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of LinkedIn marketing, including organic and paid strategies.
  • Experience creating social content and campaign plans.
  • Ability to interpret digital analytics and build clientโ€‘ready reports and recommendations.
  • Knowledge of GEO concepts, AI-driven discoverability trends, and emerging digital tools preferred. Opportunity for professional development within this role.
