Job description

About the Role

Justworks is seeking a Web Producer to join our Web Marketing team. This is a hands-on production role at the center of how justworks.com gets built, maintained, and improved. You will own the day-to-day execution of web projects - taking briefs from stakeholders, managing work through production, and publishing pages and updates in our CMS.

You will be the connective tissue between internal teams (Product Marketing, Brand, Content, Operations, Engineering), keeping projects moving toward deadlines and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. We're looking for someone who is organized, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment - someone who takes ownership, communicates clearly, and keeps work moving.

What You'll Own
  • End-to-end web production: own the full lifecycle of web requests - from intake and brief through build, QA, and publish - across all content types in Contentful
  • Cross-team intake and prioritization: triage and manage the incoming request pipeline across Marketing, Brand, Content, Design, and Engineering; keep work organized, sequenced, and moving
  • Campaign and landing page execution: build and manage pages for paid and organic channels; support A/B testing and personalization efforts
  • CMS hygiene and scalability: evolve and maintain a clean, well-organized content model - reusing components where possible, applying consistent tagging and naming conventions, and establishing practices that scale
  • Recurring web operations: own a predictable calendar of recurring work - content refreshes, asset updates, page builds, and other scheduled publishing tasks - so they run reliably without reminders
  • Launch coordination: manage multi-page builds for new initiatives - publishing in the correct dependency order and coordinating deploys with Engineering
  • Stakeholder communication: proactively surface blockers, flag risks early, and keep all parties informed on project status
Core Values
  • Camaraderie: Day to day you can be seen working together toward a higher purpose. You like to have fun. You're an active listener, treat people respectfully, and have a strong desire to know and help others.
  • Openness: Your default is to be open. You're willing to share information, understand other perspectives, and consider new possibilities. You're curious, ask open questions, and are receptive to thoughts and feedback from others.
  • Grit: You demonstrate grit by having the courage to commit and persevere. You're committed and earnest and dive in to get the job done well with a positive attitude.
  • Integrity: Simply put, do what you say and say what you'll do. You're honest and forthright, have a strong moral compass, and strive to match your words with your actions while leading by example.
  • Simplicity: Be like Einstein: "Everything should be made as simple as possible, but no simpler."

What You'll Bring

  • Minimum 5+ years in web production, web project management, or a similar hands-on web operations role
  • Proficiency in a CMS platform; Contentful experience strongly preferred
  • Strong project management instincts - you can hold multiple workstreams, prioritize under pressure, and don't let things fall
  • Clear, proactive communication style - you surface issues before they become problems
  • Comfort working alongside engineering and design; you understand how pages get built and what it takes to ship them
  • Familiarity with Asana or similar project management tools
  • Adherence to web accessibility standards and knowledge of WCAG standards for digital accessibility.
  • Familiarity with SEO fundamentals, UX/UI design fundamentals, and basic web analytics is a plus.
  • A bias toward action. You move with urgency, ask good questions, and figure things out.

The base wage range for this position based in our New York City Office is targeted at $109,000.00 to $136,000.00 per year.
