Primary Responsibilities
As the IT Tech Lead II - Web, you will provide both technical and people leadership for Sub-Zero Group's web team and digital platforms. You will be responsible for managing, mentoring, and developing a team of developers and analysts while serving as the technical expert for the technologies that power our web experiences. This role will drive solution architecture, establish technical standards, oversee platform health and delivery execution, and partner with business and technology stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and innovative digital solutions. Success in this role requires a balance of hands-on technical expertise, strategic thinking, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of web developers and analysts, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Serve as the technical authority for the organization's web platforms and supporting technologies, including Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Coveo, Cloudflare, and related digital solutions.
  • Define and uphold architectural standards, development best practices, and governance processes to ensure secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership through solution design, code reviews, troubleshooting, and guidance on complex technical challenges.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, architects, and project teams to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
  • Oversee technical delivery across multiple initiatives, ensuring projects are completed with quality, reliability, and alignment to business objectives.
  • Drive platform strategy, roadmap planning, and continuous improvement efforts while balancing innovation, operational excellence, and technical debt management.
  • Manage team capacity, priorities, and resource planning to support project delivery and ongoing operational support activities.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and technology partners to ensure successful solution delivery and adherence to established standards.
  • Represent the web team in leadership discussions and contribute to strategic technology decisions that support the organization's digital objectives.
