Envision is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Senior Frontend Web Developer to join our team in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. This Hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on innovative web-based applications that support mission-critical operations. The ideal candidate will have experience developing modern web applications, integrating with RESTful services, and collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the software development life-cycle.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and translate user requirements into functional software requirements and technical solutions.
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain web-based applications and user interfaces.
  • Integrate new and existing software systems to support business and mission objectives.
  • Develop applications that interface with REST-based APIs and web services.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
  • Create, update, and maintain software system documentation, including technical specifications and user documentation.
  • Assist in the development and execution of test procedures for software components.
  • Collaborate with developers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of software solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to software quality assurance activities.
  • Support Agile development processes and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills:
  • 8 or more years of experience developing web applications and/or front-end solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required OR Twelve (12) years of development experience may be substituted for candidates without a qualifying bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3
  • Experience developing applications that interface with REST-based APIs and services.
  • Experience troubleshooting and debugging web applications.
  • Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation.

Desired Skills:
  • Modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Experience with source code management tools such as Git.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
  • Experience with software testing and quality assurance practices.
