Job Description
You'll lead a web team that owns the AI self-service portal and the related set of microservices. You'll work with a cross-functional team of engineers to contribute to our UI/UX. We are building a cloud offering that includes UI/UX flows typical of a SaaS app.
In this role, you can expect to:
• Build high-quality and performant user interfaces that drive product-specific functionality at ExParte AI Platform
• Collaborate with product designers on shaping the flows during the design process
• Collaborate with other front end engineers in the organization around best practices and shared components
• Collaborate with other engineers driving API changes necessary to build the best UX for our users
• Work across our product, primarily on the front-end
• Interface directly with internal teams
• Evaluate software and implementation options and document them for technical teams.
• Design and develop systems, sub-systems, and programs.
• Resolve and troubleshoot problems and complex issues.
• Perform unit tests and fix bugs.
• Integrate best qualitative practices in the design and development aspects of programs.
• Be a part of a distributed team (we're in North America and Europe)
• Work with Azure cloud and Databricks
• Develop technical architecture and specific implementations to meet business needs.
• Guide the team's software engineering best practices by documenting standards and completing code reviews.
• Troubleshoot new and existing code and provide feedback and solutions to structural issues in the codebase as they arise.
• Advise on the feasibility of nonfunctional requirements and ensure the successful implementation of features while meeting those requirements.
Qualifications
Requirements:
• 5+ years professional experience with JavaScript/Typescript, HTML5, and CSS3 in the full software development life cycle (SDLC)
• 3+ years experience with T-SQL.
• 2+ years with Node.js and entity framework core.
• 2+ years of experience developing software using React.
• Experience in agile software development
• Experience writing Rest APIs and microservices-based applications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work on challenging issues independently or in a team environment
