Position Summary

The Senior Web Developer serves as the technical lead for enterprise web platforms, public websites, Drupal environments, and SharePoint-based solutions supporting NICHD business operations and public-facing digital services.

Responsibilities
  • Lead development and maintenance of Drupal websites hosted in Azure.
  • Design and develop responsive web applications using USWDS standards.
  • Support SharePoint Online and SharePoint Subscription Edition solutions.
  • Develop CI/CD automation using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Cypress, and related tools.
  • Implement accessibility and Section 508 requirements.
  • Support integration with NIH enterprise systems and authentication platforms.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure quality standards.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
  • 4+ years leading web development teams.
  • 5+ years supporting grants and council-related applications.
  • 5+ years experience with Drupal 8/9/10/11, Azure, SharePoint 2016/2019/SE/SPO, MVC 5, jQuery, and Nintex K2.
  • 3+ years React experience.
  • 3+ years USWDS experience.
  • Experience with claims-based authentication.
  • Experience developing SQL Server and Oracle stored procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
  • NIH website experience.
  • Azure DevOps certifications.
  • Experience with Search.gov and Google Analytics.
