Description & Requirements
Maximus is currently seeking a Senior Web Developer.
This position is remote with the expectation for occasional in-person meetings in Bethesda, MD and requires the ability to obtain Public Trust suitability determination.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, prototype, develop, and maintain mission critical web-based applications.
- Work closely with highly technical end users to develop resolution of software problems.
- Work independently and will have latitude in how they choose to solve problems.
- Program a multitude of components for web applications and provides for proper technical documentation.
- May provide guidance, coaching, and training to other employees within job area.
Job-Specific Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Transform website design into functionality; test and maintain website layout and other components to enhance user-experience.
- Understand and follow through with business requirements during all phases of development.
- Communicate with programmers, designers, and other specialists on matters of website concept, design, and architecture.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 5+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Job-Specific Minimum Requirements:
- Work will be remote with the expectation for occasional in-person meetings in Bethesda, MD.
- Must be able to obtain Public Trust suitability determination.
- 4 years of experience with overseeing web development and ensuring quality control.
- 5 years' experience with grants and council-related applications.
- 5 years' experience with MVC 5, jQuery, and Nintex K2 automation.
- 5 years' experience with Drupal 8/9/10/11 in Azure, including DevOps automation with.
- Cypress, Travis CI, and Jenkins/Azure DevOps Pipelines.
- With at least 5 years' experience with SharePoint 2016/2019/SE/SPO.
- 5 years' experience writing stored procedures for both SQL Server and Oracle.
- 3 years' experience using React and the United States Web Design System (USWDS).
- Experience with claims-based authentication.
- 4 years of experience overseeing web development and ensuring quality control.
- 5 years' professional experience in relevant website design, development, and maintenance.
