DAYTONA INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY
Daytona International Speedway is a state-of-the-art motorsports facility and was awarded the SportsBusiness Journal's prestigious Sports Business Award for Sports Facility of the Year in 2016. Daytona International Speedway is the home of "The Great American Race" - the DAYTONA 500. Though the prestigious season-opening NASCAR Cup Series event garners most of the attention - as well as the largest audience in motorsports - the approximately 500-acre motorsports complex boasts the most diverse schedule of racing on the globe, thus earning it the title of "World Center of Racing." Among the nine major weekends of racing activity are the Rolex 24 At DAYTONA, the DAYTONA Supercross, the DAYTONA 200 motorcycle classic and the Coke Zero Sugar 400. Rarely a week goes by that the Speedway grounds are not used for events that include track tours, concerts, civic and social gatherings, car shows, photo shoots, production vehicle testing and police motorcycle training.
NASCAR is seeking a motivated team player who will assist in all phases of the Partnership Services Department. The Partnership Services Associate, based in Daytona Beach, FL, is responsible for a variety of functions in support of the NASCAR Florida Division (Daytona International Speedway & Homestead-Miami Speedway) Sales and Partnership Services teams. This person must be extremely detailed oriented with a strong willingness to learn, and a desire to work in a fast-paced team environment.
Duties and responsibilities:
  • Co-manage the fulfillment process of partnership assets and corporate hospitality assets which includes tickets, parking passes, credentials, etc for both printed and digital passes through our ticketing platform, Ticket Master.
  • Manage own book of business of suite and hospitality clients during all DIS & HMS major events during the internship period.
  • Build strong customer relationships and look for additional growth opportunities among partners.
  • Manage details of partner activation including inventory layouts, Event and Hospitality Guides & Partner Communications.
  • Support management of event signage inventory, placement, and activation.
  • Managing the recap deck creation process with NASCAR Insights, Social, Email and other internal stakeholders.
  • Manage event day photo shot lists, organization and image capturing for recaps and proposal decks.
  • Create and assist in contract creation and trades in the corporate sales systems.
  • Support all aspects of the sales process for the Sales team.
  • Provide support to the Special Events & Hospitality team as needed.
  • Work closely with multiple departments within the organization and Southeast Region including Ticketing, Accounting, Legal, Operations, Security, NASCAR Partnership Marketing, Marketing/Digital, Event Experiences, Business Development and Guest Services.
  • Assist with Special Projects as assigned.

Fall Internship dates are flexible, but at a minimum must cover from July 27, 2026 through April 2, 2027.
Housing not provided. Position will pay $15.00/hour with the ability to make overtime. Travel to Florida Division events, if required, will be paid by Company.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Currently pursuing a degree or a recent graduate in Marketing, Sports Management, or Hospitality Management.
  • Must have a strong work ethic and willingness to learn sales systems, databases, and partnership management/activation.
  • Highly self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a high pressure, fast paced environment.
  • Detail oriented, with exceptional communication skills (telephone and in-person).
  • Ability to work long and flexible hours, including all major event weekends and evenings.
  • Adhere to the policies and procedures of the department and facility.
  • Strong computer skills in all aspects of Microsoft Office - plus if adept in Adobe Creative Suite products.
  • Must be a team player, self-starter, aggressive and professional.
  • Ability to lift over 50 lbs.
