Job description

Reach Truck/Forklift Operator
WeatherTech Direct is seeking a well-qualified Reach Truck/Forklift Operator to safely operate powered industrial vehicles and manual lifting devices to load/unload and transport material to and from storage areas, machines, and loading docks.
This is a great opportunity to join our 1st and 2nd shift teams!

  • The base hourly rate of pay starts at $22.00 per hour. 2nd Shift receives a $1.00 differential.
  • 1st shift 6:00am-2:30pm or 7:00am to 3:30pm, 2nd Shift - 2:00pm-10:30pm or 3:00pm-11:30pm.
As a reach Truck/Forklift Operator, you will
  • Operate forklifts and manual lifting devices to deliver material to production machines/workstations; distribute material/inventory using the first in-first out method
  • Manually or mechanically load or unload material from pallets, skids, platforms, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles
  • Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move it around the facility
  • Organize all production material and inventory; use RF Scanner to scan material to appropriate locations and verify quantities are accurate; restock material in floor and rack locations
  • Ensure that all necessary inventory is available for production use and coordinate the ordering of material/inventory
  • Complete daily inspection of equipment and communicate maintenance needs or damage; charge/fill batteries
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in operation and training of powered equipment with a clear understanding of forklift operations, weight capacities, and attachments
  • 2+ years of steady experience operating a Reach Truck
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Be an excellent performer; deliver high-quality results consistently
  • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and a positive attitude
  • Able to work well with and motivate a team
  • Fluent in English and authorized to work in the United States
