WBS is essential for creating schedules, estimating costs, and ensuring all aspects of a project are covered. It serves as a foundation for effective project management and communication among team members.

They are responsible for breaking down complex deliverables into manageable components, facilitating clear communication among stakeholders, and updating the WBS as the project progresses. Regular meetings and status updates are common, allowing the WBS Coordinator to identify any issues early and make necessary adjustments to keep the project on track.
